The Spanish Dharma Celebration is a national event held at the KMC Spain — Kadampa Meditation Center. The purpose is to bring together all the practitioners of Kadampa Buddhism in the country as well as anyone who is interested in their personal development and receive strong inspiration on their spiritual path.

On this occasion, the teacher Gen Kelsang Chokga will grant the empowerment of the Buddha of long life, wisdom and good fortune, amitayus buddha. Likewise, he will offer commentary on his practice and give teachings based on the book. A meaningful life, a joyful death of the venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. As Geshe-la says in this book:

“There is nothing more valuable than our human life. Because we are born as a human being, we have great freedom to achieve almost anything we want...
Since we have so much freedom, we need to ask ourselves what is the best way to fill our lives with meaning. What can make us really happy? How can we benefit others?
What is it that can help us after death?

If you have booked the event meals without accommodation, it includes lunch and dinner. We inform you that the meals are vegetarian and also vegan (these are on request). Other special diets are not available.

KMC ESPAÑA only offers vegetarian and/or vegan diets and products and all may contain traces of other foods.

If you have a severe allergy to any food, we recommend that you do not take these foods.

In the cafeteria there may be packaged foods that you can eat. Please, for your own health, carefully read the ingredients they contain.

NOTE: For online Celebration reservations, the payment of the registration 100% is required.

ATTENTION: There will be no live broadcasts for this event. Video recordings of all sessions will be available online from the Friday December 9 at 10:00 a.m.

Video recordings will be available online until 10:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 18. This excludes the initiation session, which will only be available until Sunday, December 11 at 10:00 p.m.

Once you have completed the payment of your reservation, you will receive an automatic email confirming your registration and you will not need to do anything else. On December 8th you will receive the links to the online event by email.

From KMC Spain we encourage you to participate in this event in person and thus receive the powerful blessings of the teachings live from the Kadampa Temple for Peace in the World. However, those people who cannot travel for different reasons have this alternative at their disposal.

It is actually the celebration of the goodness of the Master that has given us this opportunity.

Gen Kelsang Chokga she is our resident teacher and national spiritual director of the NKT in Spain and Portugal.

He has studied and practiced under the guidance of the Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso since 1998, since then he has dedicated his life to imparting the profound teachings of the Buddha.

Her clarity in transmitting the teachings and her caring nature make her an exemplary Kadampa practitioner.
