KMC Spain provides residential facilities. Becoming a part of the residential community here is a unique opportunity to experience modern Buddhism in action. Enjoy the inspirational company of others who emphasize living a spiritual life. Whether you work, you are a student or retired, to live in the center is a fantastic opportunity to integrate Buddha’s teachings into your daily life. The education program and retreat opportunities are adapted to support the temple project.
ACCOMODATION & INFORMATION OF INTEREST
- Rooms vary from small to large with a private bathroom and share a kitchen.
- All rooms have air conditioning and heating. No meat or fish is served in the center.
- Sorry, we do not allow pets, and to maintain peace and tranquility there is no TV, smoking, alcohol or drugs, loud music, meat or fish permitted in the centre.
Kadampa Meditation Center Spain is located in a beautiful, natural and tranquil environment on the outskirts of Alhaurín el Grande, Málaga and only 30 min drive to the beach. In this area of Spain you will enjoy 300 days of sunshine a year.

All residents contribute to the life of the community through their voluntary work. This includes cooking, cleaning, gardening, organizing meditation courses, and running the shop and cafes. Becoming a resident at KMC Spain is a special way to contribute to the flourishing of Kadam Dharma and an opportunity to begin or deepen our spiritual life. As a resident you have to:

- Respect the rules of the center and the community
- Collaborate in community work
ABOUT THE CENTER
Kadampa Meditation Center Spain is a non-profit organization. All the people who collaborate are volunteers. The contributions are used to cover the expenses of the center and the profits go to the International Temple Project.
