Gen Kelsang Devi
Gen Kelsang Devi is the Principal Teacher of Kailash International Retreat Centre and Kadampa Meditation Centre Switzerland. She is a modern Buddhist nun and senior international teacher of the New Kadampa Tradition, having studied and practiced Kadampa Buddhism for 20 years under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Gen Devi has extensive experience of silent meditation retreat herself, as well as teaching and skilfully guiding numerous group retreats in Tharpaland International Retreat Centre for 10 years, and throughout the world. Gen Devi’s experience makes her teachings and guidance in retreats very powerful. She is well known for her joyful warmth and humour, as well as her clear and practical presentation of the teachings.
She is an inspiring example of modern Buddhism in practice and is dedicated to helping everyone discover Buddha’s timeless wisdom and find real, lasting happiness.
