In the sixth Kadampa Kadampa Temple for Peace in the World, mother center of Spain, KMC Spain Gen Kelsang Chokga will grant us the initiation of Je Tsongkhapa, the Buddha of wisdom with teachings on why it is essential to trust a Spiritual Guide, how to find a qualified Spiritual Guide and how to trust our Spiritual Guide and always keep ourselves under his guidance and inspiration .
We will also receive explanations on how to perform a Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka retreat. Genla Dekyong received these instructions directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and shared them at the International Spring Festival that took place right here at KMC Spain. In this event we will receive these instructions again in addition to clarifications that arose later on how to carry out this withdrawal correctly.
On this occasion we will be able to do the Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka retreat for a week and create the causes for doing it all together in the Temple in January 2024.
With this retreat we create very powerful actions that will make the Kadam Dharma flourish in our hearts and throughout the world. There is no better method to return the kindness of our Spiritual Guide than to carry out this retreat.
The sadhana that will be used for the retreat sessions will be:
Hundreds of Deities of the Blissful Earth according to the Supreme Yoga Tantra.
The retreat will begin on February 26. Y will end on March 5. There will be four sessions each day. The first two days of the retreat will be presided over by guen Kelsang Chokga and the following Maria Jose Jimenez.

the teachers
Gen Kelsang Chokga is our resident teacher and national spiritual director of the NKT in Spain and Portugal.
He has studied and practiced under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso since 1998, since then he has dedicated his life to imparting the profound teachings of the Buddha.
Her clarity in conveying the teachings and her caring nature make her an exemplary Kadampa practitioner.
Maria Jose Jimenez he was introduced to Kadampa Buddhism in 2003 and since then has collaborated in different areas in Dharma centers. He has been a student of the Fundamental Program for 19 years.
He is currently part of the team that conducts guided tours of the temple and guides meditations.
