teacher

Gen Kelsang Lochani She has studied and practiced Buddhism under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang since 1998 and has been a nun since 2007. She has dedicated her life to benefiting others by spreading the precious teachings of the Buddha through the development of Kadampa meditation centers.

Her loving-kindness, practical spiritual insight, and clear and warm presentation of Buddhist teachings make Gen Kelsang Lochani an admirable and inspiring teacher and role model as a Kadampa practitioner.

"When we do retreat we put aside all kinds of activities that distract us and we emphasize a particular spiritual practice.

There are three types of retreat: physical, verbal and mental.”
