Buddhist meditation is the most powerful tool in the universe for bringing about profound and lasting change in our hearts. It has produced countless realized beings in the past and can continue to do so in the present. But do you feel that that is possible for you?

For whom are these teachings?

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche has revealed in his books a special way to transform our meditations into authentic and lasting realizations of love, compassion and wisdom. A realization is much more than just improved knowledge. It is when a topic such as compassion or wisdom has been so integrated into our being that it remains with us as a permanent change of experience and attitude. If we wish for lasting happiness then we need to gain realizations of our wonderful and profound Dharma topics.

The special way to transform our meditation into realization is known as the five forces, which Venerable Geshe-la calls ‘the essence of all Dharmas.’ These five are not five new things to learn, but rather a special way to make our practice more powerful, energized, skillful and joyful so that it naturally gives us the results we long for.

In this weekend online event Kadam Morten will guide us through integrating these five forces into our own daily practice.

Kadam Morten Clausen is the Eastern US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition and Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center New York City.

He has been teaching Kadampa Buddhism for more than 30 years and is greatly admired for his clarity, humor and inspirational presentation. Kadam Morten often guides retreats internationally.
