SPANISH FESTIVAL 2021
How to increase our faith and wisdom
In this national event, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, will grant us the empowerment of Arya Tara and the commentary to her practices: Liberation from sorrow and The Yoga of Enlightened Mother Arya Tara.
By participating in this event, our faith in Tara will increase. By opening the window of our faith in Arya Tara, we will feel closer to her and we will be protected and encouraged by our Enlightened Mother, who will provide us with everything we need in our inner development. This has been the experience of many Kadampas, including Venerable Atisha, who remained devoted to Tara throughout his life and constantly received her care and protection.
Because Arya Tara is a Wisdom Buddha, we will be able to increase our wisdom and understand the deepest teachings of Buddhism, which will enable us to attain enlightenment in this very life.

¿Qué pasa en una iniciación?
En las iniciaciones tántricas recibes en tu corazón las poderosas bendiciones de una Deidad iluminada, en este caso de Arya Tara, que será conferida por la directora espiritual general de la tradición Kadampa, guenla Kelsang Dekyong.
Todas las iniciaciones incluyen meditaciones, visualizaciones guiadas y enseñanzas.
¿Necesito prepararme para una iniciación?
Las iniciaciones de bendiciones se pueden recibir a diferentes niveles, así que no debes preocuparte si tienes poca experiencia de la meditación budista.
La mejor manera de prepararte es familiarizar tu mente con la compasión y con el deseo de beneficiarse a uno mismo para poder ayudar mejor a los demás. Podemos generar el deseo:
“Que gracias a esta iniciación pueda beneficiar de verdad a los demás”
►Las reservas tardías (las recibidas después de las 18 h del jueves) solo recibirán los enlaces al menos 24 horas después de la reserva, o más tarde en el caso de que se reciba un gran número de reservas tardías.
►La inscripción cierra a la medianoche martes 29 de septiembre.

TEACHERS
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU and Principal Resident Teacher at Manjushri KMC, is a modern Buddhist nun dedicated to helping people from all walks of life attain lasting happiness through developing inner mental peace.
Teachings
- Gen-la will grant the empowerment of Arya Tara on April 1st and she will give teaching and the commentary to her practices.
Gen Kelsang Lochani
Gen Lochani is the resident teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center in Barcelona. She has been a nun since 2007 and since 1998 she has studied and practiced Buddhism under the guidance of the venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Her loving kindness, practical spiritual insight, and warm and clear presentation of Buddhist teachings make her an admirable and inspiring teacher.

Gen Kelsang Tsongmo
Gen Kelsang Tsongmo is the resident teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Center in Madrid and has been a disciple of the venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso since 2001. She exposes the teachings of Buddhism very clearly, in addition to her affable and close nature, she makes her classes enjoyable and practical so that we can put meditation into practice in our daily life, in a simple way.

- Gen K. Tsongmo will guide the meditations during the Festival.
Gen Kelsang Chokga
National spiritual director of the NKT-IKBU in Spain and resident teacher of the Kadampa Meditation Center of Spain. She is a Buddhist nun who has studied and practiced the Kadampa teachings since 1998 under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Her clarity in transmitting the teachings and her caring character make her an exemplary Kadampa practitioner.
Retreat
- Gen K. Chokga will guide the retreat on April 3rd and 4th.
