Spanish Festival of Kadampa Buddhism 2023
compassion in action
Empowerment of thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara with teachings and commentary to practice.
With Genla Kelsang Kunsang
When we are faced with the suffering in this world and that of our loved ones, we often feel helpless or frustrated. Is there a way to respond to conflict situations that is constructive and positive? The answer is yes, universal compassion. Of all the virtues, universal compassion is the purest virtue. It is also our inner wealth.
During the Festival of Spain, genla Kelsang Kunsang will grant us the empowerment of the thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara Buddha and will teach us how to generate and maintain compassion in daily life. This is the way to improve our human nature and qualities, to improve relationships with others and bring peace to our world.
We will also receive the commentary on the self-generation practice of thousand-armed Avalokiteshvara, at the Avalokitesvara Sadhana Already Nectar Essence Drop, a practice that combines fasting, compassion and purification.
This event will take place at the sixth Kadampa Temple for World Peace in a beautiful and peaceful setting in the Sierra de Mijas.
